Tabular Editor ApS was founded in 2021, commercializing the success of the open-source Tabular Editor 2. We have since launched Tabular Editor 3, which has gained significant adoption as the ultimate productivity tool for Analysis Services and Power BI data model developers worldwide. You will work alongside some highly talented individuals, including the original author of the product Daniel Otykier. With a small yet growing team of employees, we offer an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.

 

What will you be doing?

As a Developer or Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of Tabular Editor 3. Your primary focus will be to work on the Tabular Editor 3 application, a .NET 6 WinForms application that utilizes DevExpress for most of the UI components.

Your responsibilities will also include contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of new product features, identifying and fixing bugs, and participating in weekly status meetings. 

You will primarily be working from twoday kapacity’s office located in Kolding.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person who has:

  • A background as a coder, software engineer or similar - .NET/C# experience is a plus.
  • Experience building Windows desktop applications.
  • Experience with common software development patterns such as dependency injection, unit testing, and version control.
  • Experience with code parsing (Roslyn, ANTLR, etc.)
  • Experience with Tabular Editor 2 or 3, or at the very least with tabular model development in Power BI or Analysis Services.
  • A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
