We won gold in the Data Science category with the following justification:
"Gold is given to the company that has solved a monumental challenge and ensured the critical infrastructure of the Danes. By rethinking data collection, N1 has increased its efficiency, ignited an innovative culture, and secured the energy of their customers."
We also received bronze in the category "Creative Use Of Technology" with the following justification:
"We loved that this case really showed how useful technology can be and how it, in this case, simplifies a work process with the use of machine learning and geo-tracking. For us, the creative use of technology is a clear efficiency improvement that creates value for N1."
Anne Kraght, Head of Strategic Alliances, and Søren Toft Joensen, Partner and CCO, were present to receive the awards.
Regarding the Data Science prize, Søren Toft Joensen says:
"Over the past 7 years, we have assembled the best Data Science team that can walk on two legs. And to be completely honest, the prize is particularly liberating as we have struggled for several years with endless PoCs and tests that were difficult to commercially integrate. Seeing full-scale solutions in production that truly generate value and a mature MLOps setup that works makes me both proud and happy."
