Capacity’s introductory course in Jedox is for controllers and others within finance who want an introduction to working with Jedox – including a review of the different modules in Jedox, how to create simple reports and how you can make simple changes in an existing Jedox solution.

Our Jedox introductory course is for those of you who…

This course is aimed at controllers and others within finance who want to become familiar with Jedox as a potential tool for performing specific CPM tasks and processes. The course is also aimed at those of you who currently work with a solution in Jedox and want to learn how you can make changes to, for example, dimensions and to create your own reports and ad-hoc analyses.

After the course, you will gain an understanding of what the different modules in Jedox can be used for, so that you can establish a direction for your future learning. You can also make a simple Jedox report that can be shared with the rest of the organisation as well as ad-hoc analyses in existing cubes and dimensions. You will also be able to make minor changes to an existing Jedox model for maintenance of a Jedox solution.

The content of the course

During the course, which lasts 6 hours, we will cover these subjects:

  • Intro to Jedox and its modules
At the course, we will start by introducing Jedox and its modules. This includes reports, model designer, integrator and user administration. We will provide a short introduction to the modules, and later in the course, we will delve deeper into relevant modules.

  • Maintenance of an existing Jedox model
During the course, you will become familiar with the model designer, where you will learn to make changes to existing dimensions so as to maintain an already developed model and solutions.

  • Development of own reports and ad-hoc analyses
You will learn to design simple reports in Jedox from scratch as well as how to make ad-hoc analyses in both Jedox web and Excel based on existing cubes and dimensions. Both the reports and ad-hoc analyses can be shared with the rest of the organisation.
